The primary cooler is a device for cooling the gas. It has an upright rectangular housing, and the cooling water pipe is arranged horizontally at a 3° angle from the horizontal plane.


Working principle


A primary cooler or a final cooler is a device used by gas companies or other chemical companies to cool hot gases. The most common type is the transverse tube type primary cooler, which has a number of transverse pipes inside, and the cooling water is circulated in the pipes. The cooling water is divided into the first section of cooling water and the second section of cooling water.The temperature of the first section of cooling water is generally 25-32 degrees, which circulates in the upper part of the primary cooler. The temperature of the second section cooling water is generally 18-25 degrees, which circulates in the lower part of the primary cooler.The hot gas enters from the top of the primary cooler and then goes out from the bottom. The hot gas meets the cooling water in the transverse tube of the primary cooler and cools down to make the gas temperature of the primary cooler reach the technical index. In order to prevent the crystals that condense out of the gas during cooling from blocking the pipelines, the ammonia water is generally sprayed at the top of the primary cooler, and the crystals will automatically decompose when they encounter the ammonia water, and then discharge together with the lower liquid. Its height is generally 30 meters.
